Marton Village CC

A Place to Play and Players to Play

WELCOME to Marton Village Cricket Club.

Marton is a small village in the heart of South Warwickshire with a population of around 400 people.

The Cricket Club was formed in the late 1930's and survives to this day with limited financial support from our members and the villagers.

We are pleased to announce that we have a major sponsor for the 2004 Season with a generous donation from Torex plc and continued sponsorship from medical technology company lifesyne.

We have players from 12 to 55 and enjoy our Sunday Afternoon matches with many local villages. Every year we have a local 'Ashes' match with Birdinbury and an annual Cup Game with RPC from Long Itchington. MVCC will also play in the Leamington Spa Midweek League in 2004

We welcome any visitors and would be very interested in arranging fixtures with new teams. Please call our Fixtures Secretary Alex Sedgfield on 07776-135346 (email alexsedgfield@yahoo.co.uk)
